At Riverwood Center, we want you to be happy with our services, but we understand that there are times when things do not go as they should. If you are unhappy then we would like to hear about it.

Customer Service is here to assist you when:
• You are not happy with your services.
• You need help with service choices or changing providers.
• You are looking for information about Riverwood Center.
• You want help locating information about places to get help.

Customer Service is available by phone Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (excluding holidays), at 269-934-3478 or toll free at 1-866-729-8716. You may also call a Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health Customer Service Representative at 1-800-890-3712 or 711 (Michigan Relay Center). During business hours, your call will always be answered by a live team member ready to help. If you reach us after hours, you can leave a message—and if you need a call back outside of our normal hours, just let us know and we’ll do our best to meet your needs.

Grievance or Appeal

If you ever disagree with Riverwood Center’s decision about your services—such as a denial of your request or a change to the services you currently receive—you have the right to file an appeal. If you are covered by Medicaid, you may also request a state fair hearing. In addition, if you are not satisfied with the way your services were provided or how you were treated, we want to hear from you.
